Garden Update
*The first tomato is upon us. I was hoping to wait until Julianne and Asher get back from San Francisco on Monday, but I don't think it will make it... tomorrow it will be consumed.

Pez! Pez! Pez!
It's been a few weeks now since we set up the pez. Amazingly, the display actually lasted over 24 hours before Asher decided to knock them all down. He loved playing with them. He would thoughtfully look them over and set his sights on one, cautiously pick it up, and then delicately place it back before choosing another.
***ET is my new favourite dispensor. There are a few reasons for this:
1) Asher, who already knew about E.T. (due to the sculpture in our house--see reason 2 below), discovered that E.T. had a hat. A week after the display was dismantled, Asher approached Julianne demanding his hat. She got him his baseball cap, but he wasn't satisfied. He insisted on "coat hat". So she brought him his brown zip up, hooded sweater. He was ecstatic when she understood, and upon compliance of the request, he said E.T. and brought her the pez to show her that he had a hat like Asher's.
2) My sculpture that I made in ceramics class my last semester at BYU. It was supposed to be a bust of a real person (it was going to be Jacob Knudsen), but I'm not very good, or better-put, I'm horrible at making things look realistic. So the sculpture ended up resembling E.T. a great deal more than Jacob.
3) Look at that smile!

Spring Break
Spring break came and went quickly. Despite various illnesses from all 3, we were able to get out and do a lot. We basically saw a different part of town each day. Nothing was planned and everything worked out great.
1. We finally made it to the Harmon Branch library. Not in the best part of town-- in fact, probably one of the worst. But it's a great looking building (with great letters), and it's where we got our free culture pass to the Children's Museum.
2. We teamed up with Mike, MaKell, and Jaxon at the Children's Museum. After that, we headed to "Two Hippies Beach House Outrageous Tacos and Burritos" (that's the real name-- and no website, so this abc article will have to do).
3. After lunch, we said goodbye to the Bullochs. We were going to head home, but Asher had already had his nap in the "white car", so we took advantage and headed over to Scottsdale to get dessert at Sprinkles and then at Yogurtland.
4. We were too close to the train park to not stop for a ride on the Merry-Go-Round and train. Looking back, it was a perfect day for Asher. And not a bad day for us either...
I don't think we'll be doing a post for each day. You get the point.
